Explosive rock solos and heartfelt songwriting unite amidst addictive melodies and a naturally captivating vocal rasp – Alabama’s Byron Green showcases a lifelong passion and dedication to original music.

Hailing from Greenhill, Byron is no stranger to the stage. His unparalleled talent was first recognized in 2007 when he won Alabama Idol, an accolade followed soon afterwards by a Muscle Shoals Music Award for Best Pop Album. Since then, the artist has kept his foot firmly on the gas, and now boasts over 2500 live shows across the South Eastern US.

From his early album release of ‘Who You Are’, back in 2006, to the electrifying passion and riff-heavy embrace of 2021’s ‘Shooting Star’, Green’s music has evolved on a plethora of levels. The clear maturity and confidence of his new release speaks volumes on behalf of experience, talent and focus.

An established lyricist and multi-instrumentalist, recognized most notably for his mastering of the keys, Green has already collaborated with a handful of impressive names – not least of all Grant Walden, who co-produced the No.1 iTunes hit from Matt Cooper, ‘Ain't Met Us Yet.’ Green has also proudly shared stages with the likes of John Paul White of The Civil Wars, Angela Hacker (winner of Nashville Star), Jason Isbell, Lee Brice, Rehab, Drivin and Cryin, and many other noteworthy acts.

While his journey has been extensive, loaded with creative pursuits and successes, it was only the birth of his daughter Ivey Jane in March of 2020 that sparked an overwhelming level of drive and inspiration; a life event that ultimately motivated Green to start working in the right direction as an artist.

With no label to back him, but a songwriting repertoire and performance style that speak boldly for themselves, Green’s reputation as an indie musician is naturally evolving. From the emotive and soulful soft rock tendencies of an ambient ‘Live This Lie’, through the infectious knees-up roar of ‘Tennessee’, to the revealing and personal touch that is Breathe – and now, the immersive power and personality of the brand new single ‘I’m Real’ - Byron Green’s talent knows no limits, and his openness is incredibly refreshing.

With a rock voice born to perform, and riffs, lyrics and progressions fit to ignite a fresh generation of rock fans, Green’s music urges listeners to turn up the volume; to escape entirely into the raw energy and heart of the moment.
